We see alot of small businesses using 3rd party email accounts such as Hotmail and BT Internet for their businesses, probably because they got used to using a personal one, but doing this can look unprofessional – and really it’s a straight forward task to setup your own domain’s email account, enquiry@tomsdesignstudio.com for example.

Adding an email package to your domain can cost as little as £15 a year and can be setup on your home and office computers email applications (that you already have installed), as well as your mobile device such as the iPhone.

Tom’s Design Studio is now fully integrated with our Facebook business page, you’ll see our Facebook widget on the right hand side of our pages which allows our visitors to become a ‘fan’ of our company directly from our site. Additionally, all our blog posts (such as this) are automatically uploaded to our page for the interest of anyone following our company through Facebook.

We offer this integration in all our CMS websites helping build awareness of your product or service.

If you have already purchased a domain and hosting package it is possible to use this instead, however our websites require your package to include PHP5 and MySQL (this should appear on the features list) – it is usually possible to upgrade your existing package if it does not include this.

We also offer shared storage space on our own hosted server, hosting your website in this way makes no difference to it’s appearance in terms of how search engines find it. 2010 Mrs Mini Website Launched!
